I grew up in Oxford, Ohio, surrounded by the charm of Miami University. For my family, Miami isn’t just a school; it’s part of our story. My parents met here, and now, as a sophomore majoring in Sport Communication & Media, I get to experience it for myself in a new way.

Oxford has always meant more to me than just a place. It’s the brick streets, the campus traditions, the sense of community, and the memories tied to every corner. It’s home.

When I moved into my own space, I wanted that same feeling, but I couldn’t find decor that truly reflected it. Everything felt generic, missing the personality and meaning that make college towns so special. That’s exactly the gap we discovered in our research: students want spaces that feel personal, meaningful, and connected to their college experience, but struggle to find decor that balances both style and identity.

That’s why we created Brick & Banner Co.

We design meaningful wall decor inspired by college towns, starting with Oxford. Our pieces are made to help you bring your college experience into your space in a way that feels authentic. From subtle map designs to location-based details, every product is created to reflect the identity of a place and the memories tied to it.

Our goal is to go beyond just one town. We want to help students across Ohio and eventually beyond celebrate the places that shaped them, turning their spaces into something that feels like home.
